MINE FAQ
Can I visit or explore the Jeffries Live Oak Mine?
No.
The Jeffries Live Oak Mine is an active underground mine and is not open to the public.
Mining is dangerous — unstable ground, low oxygen, falling rock, flooding risk, and confined spaces make exploration unsafe without proper training and equipment.
We do not offer mine tours, walkthroughs, or underground access of any kind.
Why don’t you allow public access to the mine?
Because we respect the land, the work, and the reality of mining.
This isn’t a tourist attraction.
It’s a working mine with real risk, real consequences, and real responsibility.
Safety comes first — always.
Is the paydirt “salted” or enhanced?
Absolutely not.
Our paydirt is:
-
Dug directly from the Jeffries Live Oak Mine
-
Unaltered
-
Unsalted
-
Untreated
-
Exactly as it comes from the ground
Some bags may be rich.
Some may be lean.
That’s mining — not a gimmick.
Will I definitely find gold?
No — and anyone who promises that is lying.
Paydirt is real mining material.
Results vary based on:
-
Skill
-
Technique
-
Patience
-
Experience
Gold is never guaranteed.
Authenticity is.
Why is your paydirt different from online sellers?
Most online paydirt is:
-
Pre-seeded
-
Processed
-
Artificially balanced for guaranteed results
Ours isn’t.
Jeffries Live Oak paydirt reflects:
-
Real geology
-
Real uncertainty
-
Real mining conditions
You’re panning the same material we do.
Do you sell large mining equipment or claim access?
No.
We sell material, not access, equipment, or claims.
We do not:
-
Lease mining rights
-
Offer claim access
-
Sell mining locations
-
Provide prospecting tours
Can I bring kids to pan paydirt?
Yes — with supervision.
Panning can be a great learning experience, but:
-
Children should be supervised
-
Proper tools should be used
-
Expectations should be realistic
This is about experience, not instant results.
Why are some bags heavier or lighter in content?
Natural variation.
Paydirt comes from real cuts and real ground.
There is no way to “balance” nature without altering it — and we won’t do that.
What happens if I don’t find anything?
Then you experienced mining honestly.
We stand behind the truth of the material, not guaranteed outcomes.
That honesty is the point.
Do you offer refunds on paydirt?
No.
Because:
-
Material is authentic
-
Results vary
-
Mining involves risk and chance
If that makes you uncomfortable, paydirt may not be the right product for you — and that’s okay.
