About the Family

Most people see mountains as a place to visit. We see them as a place to live—a place that raises us, sharpens our attention, and rewards patience. We did not come looking for a brand; this place was already part of our family’s story.

 

Our family lives off-grid in the Sierra foothills, shaped by the land, the seasons, and the responsibility of caring for a working property. Nothing here is staged or guaranteed, and that is why practical preparation matters.

 

What we offer comes from how we live. Honey, farmstand goods, forest materials, minerals, and paydirt are connected to the same ground and the same responsibility. Private work areas remain protected; we share the story through approved goods, photographs, and visitor spaces.

 

This is not about self-sufficiency as a trend. It is about stewardship, family responsibility, and staying connected to a place that asks for patience.
